Dual memories of a place lost to birth.

My friend mentioned that he had strange memories of being in a dome like place with a blue sky.  The sun was bleeding through soft natural clouds and it felt like home.  It felt "blue".  I had the same memory too.  How about you guys, does any of this ring a bell?  Is this collective memory a heaven of sorts.

Get Microsoft Paint open or A piece of paper

and draw that memory that was imprinted.  Something you made, it is a beautiful work of art.  Not the painting but the memory.  I think we could have galleries for memories.
(This blog is increasing becoming subjective and I love it!)

Construct a memory.

Nothing fancy, but I want you to make a memory right now.  View it as a piece of data stored in a hard drive.  I've got the image in my mind that I've created of a trees in a lonely field.  That is my data.  Now all of you create something simple.  But remember that it is a piece of data in your "hard drive".  The more you visit that piece of data the higher the resolution.  The more details and code bits it has.  It will be stored there for as long as you want because in reality we have the power to form our own subjective data.  We are tiny gods.  I will then ask you to do something with that data tomorrow.

Happy surfing!

Remember the first time you felt hurt.

I remember not being able to go up the stairs.  Everyone was afraid I would get hurt but I was a tiny adventurer.

When was the first time you felt hurt? Deprived?  Pain is essential, makes us feel organic and alive.  The dual nature of the world demands it.  And so does memory.

A Note of Nootropics:

I've been researching Nootropic drugs recently as a way of better protecting the memory in a stress filled world.  I used to smoke and I'm over 5 months clean of it.  I did notice it had memory enhancing qualities but everyone knows the pitfalls.  Coffee is considered by some to be a Nootropic though there are dangers associated with caffeine as well.  I'm going to list a few lesser known chemicals that have been shown to some degree to enhance the brain either via circulatory or other means.

This chemical is sometimes prescribed in the EU for memory and related ADD.  It is available in the US but is not currently regulated by the FDA.  It has been shown to boost concentration and memory in studies and is safe.  It is said to be best taken with Choline.

Other nootropics like modafinil are only available by prescription.  Some herbs like Ginko and Ginseng have been used to promote alertness.  Always consult with your doctor before you start a regimen.

I've come up with a little something:

Memory surfing tutorial:
Find something you once loved and long to remember.  Notice all sensory stimuli about it until you get a "hit".  Ride this wave into the next memory carefully noticing anything that rides perpendicular.  Any thoughts that may have been lost are usually the hardest to ride.  But once you've got one others will come.  Share your ideas on how to better expand your long term memory.

The Mission:

Each day I will have an assignment for readers in order to better understand their memories.

Today's assignment:
What is your earliest memory and how does it make you feel?

My answer: Being 2 inside a crib and feeling mystical.

How I've begun to grow.

The other day as I was running I had a revelation about how the memory process works.  I realized in all the glory of the human mind the memory remains as permanent as any other.  The walls of information overran my thoughts and I felt "home" in a way./  I've come up with a way of linking memories like searching through wikipedia.

Focus on one thought and if any others come grab them and find any data you can in them.  You can keep pushing until you find something.  I'm talking long term memories here by the way.

Use the feelings certain scenes have to reestablish a connection to your youth.  It has brought me more happiness than anything.  Which is why I've begun work on an art project that utilizes all sensory information in order to become more memory aware.

This is just too sad..

I really would never wish this on anybody.  I only hope by studying this terrible malady we can help increase our awareness.

Who knew!

Apparently, nicotine has been shown to be beneficial for memory.  Still glad I quit smoking!

Introduction

Hello all!  I've created this blog in order to further my ideas of memory actualization and the development of memory recognition tools.  We all sponge up thoughts into giant memory lattices and while reading this blog you will become more intuitive of your own past memories.  I've got an idea for an invention to store and explore your memories.  Give it time, thanks!
